Fall 2023 WV School Learning Environment Survey for parents or caregivers of students at: Pleasant Hill School, Calhoun County (014-203).
Th e online parent survey will be available from October 2 through November 17, 2023.
Parents are asked to complete an online survey about school climate—the learning and teaching/working conditions—to help guide school improvement efforts. The results of this survey will be used to make changes in their child's school to ensure a supportive environment for teaching and learning. The survey may be completed from any computer with an internet connection.
Parent participation in the survey is very important. If parents have questions about the survey or problems completing the survey, please contact Principal, Ashley Cunningham.

Reminder that tomorrow PHE students will all be attending the Heritage Day at the Molasses festival. Please insure that students wear weather appropriate clothing and tennis shoes/boots as they will be outdoors most of the day. If they are packing a lunch from home, please put in a disposable bag with students name.

Save the Children is offering a Kindergarten Transitions Workshop series, which aims to equip parents and caregivers with valuable insights on transition-related topics and aptitudes that promote their child's Kindergarten preparedness.
These workshops are held once a month on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 4:30-6:30 at the Calhoun Family Support Center in Grantsville.

We will be offering Volunteer Training on Wednesday, September 20th at Pleasant Hill Elementary. We still do not have enough people trained and willing to help with our book fair the week of October 2nd. Please come be trained if you would like to volunteer at any Calhoun school.
Literacy Fair participation information is being sent home with students this afternoon. All students in grades Kindergarten through 4th are encouraged to participate. See the letter for more information.
