Due to the early dismissal today, the PreK Celebration has been rescheduled to tomorrow, Friday May 16th. The Parent PreK Transition meeting will be at 2:00 and the Celebration will begin at 2:30.

Due to two main water breaks on Mt. Zion Ridge, Calhoun County Schools will dismissing at 12:30.

In partnership with Save the Children, 21st Century Learning Centers, and Communities in Schools, Calhoun County Schools is pleased to offer Summer Camp at CMHS beginning June 23, 2025 through July 25, 2025. Students currently enrolled in grades K-5 may enroll now. Summer camp will consist of reading, writing, math, science, fine art, music, physical activity, healthy choices, field trips, STEM, etc. Please click the link below if you wish to enroll your K-5 Student.

On Tuesday, May 13th, all 4th grade students will head to Calhoun Middle High School for a fun and informative Transition Day!
Students will arrive at 11:30 AM at Calhoun Middle High School. They will then eat lunch at the Middle School and complete a School tour, teacher meet & greet, and recess!
Students will ride their regular buses home OR they can be picked up by parents at 3:30 PM (back of the Middle High School)
Let’s get excited for 5th grade!

PTO Meeting at 4:00pm today in the Pleasant Hill Cafeteria. This meeting will also include Election of PTO Officers for next school year. All are welcome.

Attention 4th Grade Families! Kennywood field trip is tomorrow, May 9th. Please understand that your child must wear tennis shoes and arrive at Pleasant Hill by 6:45 in the morning.

If you have a pre-K student at PHE and have a red Raising a Reader bag, please return it on Thursday. Thank you for your participation.


Next week, students in grades Kindergarten through 4th grade will completing our End of the Year Benchmark Assessments for ELA and Math.
We kindly ask families to:
• Avoid early sign-outs on those days
• Make sure students are present and on time
• Strive for 100% attendance in all grade levels next week!
Let’s set our students up for success!
Here are a few simple at-home test prep tips:
• Get a good night’s sleep each night before testing
• Eat a healthy breakfast
• Talk about staying calm and confident
• Encourage them to take their time and do their best.
We are so proud of the hard work our students and teachers have put in—let’s cheer them on to finish strong!
