The Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center Phlebotomy Students are in need of volunteers to fulfill blood draw requirements for testing eligibility.
They will be holding a Venipuncture Lab this Friday, January 5th, from 3-7pm at CGCC in Health Occupations Lab.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Anyone under 18 years of age MUST have written consent from parent/guardian.

We will be having a Local School Improvement Council (LSIC) Meeting
and Program Area Committee for Technical Education (PACT) Meeting from
4:00pm to 5:00pm on Thursday, October 19th, 2023 here at our center.
We will also be holding Parent Teacher Conferences from 4:00pm-7:00pm on this same evening as well (10-19-23). We hope you can join us at our center for these evening events, and we are very grateful to have your student with us this year!

Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center will be observing the Professional Learning Day for staff on 10-9-23 and this means there will be NO SCHOOL for students at our center on Monday, October 9th. Again, there is no school for students on Monday, October 9th. Thank you!

The COVID-19 Coverage for healthcare benefits is ending on April 1, 2023. Medicaid or West Virginia Children’s Health Insurance Program (WVCHIP) will be mailing renewal letters now and in the upcoming months. Please make sure parents know to update their email, mailing address, and phone number with the Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) if they receive Medicaid or WVCHIP healthcare benefits.
