On December 18th, Calhoun Middle High School hosted the first-ever Middle School Social Studies Showcase, featuring the work of 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students, who demonstrated what they have learned this year in social studies. Students taught us about the historical landscapes of ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt, helped us explore the trenches of World War I, competed to see who knows all 55 West Virginia counties, played new and exciting social studies-themed board games, and much more. This was an exciting event filled with informational fun facts all provided by Calhoun County students!

Due to a main water break at Pleasant Hill PSD, all Calhoun County Schools will be dismissing at 2:00 PM today.
The Pancakes and Pajamas event scheduled for this evening is canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date.
