Good morning, You may hear students talking about the our new alert system today. Calhoun County School is in the final stages of testing the system, provided by the COPS Grant, in our schools. This system will allow quicker response times for schools and first responders in case of an emergency. Evaluation of the system is starting, to ensure all the settings and various announcements are working.

Be on the lookout over the next couple of weeks for bags that say Book Hunt on them. I will be hiding several of them throughout the county. Once you and your child have found a bag please, tag me in a post that you have found one of the the Book Hunt bags, private message me showing me or come to a group and see what all we do during these groups. My goal is to bring more awareness to, two of the programs we offer families in Calhoun County with children 5 and under. These 2 programs are Early Steps to School Success and Early Steps to Kindergarten Readiness.
